About Me
I have over 9 years of classroom experience and a master’s degree in elementary education. I am aware of students varying needs and learning styles. It is my goal to help all students exceed in school while developing a love of learning.
All children have a preferred learning style. As an instructional provider it is my hope to tap into that style and prepare lessons that a child needs while teaching in a style that will give the student the necessary skills to carry over into the classroom.
The best way to help a student achieve academic success is to be able to identify the child’s strengths and weaknesses. ACES will work with the child’s teacher to understand the development and meet the needs of the students. The goal is to create a whole learner, build self-esteem and educational success.
I provide a variety of services for elementary and middle school students including but not limited to reading recovery, homework help, basic skill building as well as, keeping up and improving skills over vacation time.
Amanda has not only helped our son progress in his reading and writing but helped him gain so much confidence in himself. She has a natural way of determining how the students brain functions and the best way to work with them to get the optimal results. Highly recommend!
